Demagnetization Analysis of Modular SPM Machine Based on Coupled Electromagnetic-Thermal Modelling

چکیده
This paper investigates magnet demagnetization characteristics of the modular permanent machine. The influence flux gaps on density, losses distribution, torque and are analyzed for different operating conditions. demagnetizations caused by three sources, such as PM field, armature temperature rise, individually investigated using frozen permeability method. Furthermore, coupled electromagnetic (EM)-thermal modelling is also adopted in this to fully reveal advantages machine improving EM performances. essential due temperature-dependent properties machines, remanence, coercivity, copper resistivity. For comparison propose, performances with a particular focus withstand capability both non-modular machines based EM-thermal coupling. It found that, compared machine, can achieve higher torque, efficiency, better capability.
